       This work of synthesis and with an eminently practical approach is articulated in three parts:

• The first part is articulated in the following topics: theoretical framework and historical perspective, neuroevolutionary foundations, neonatology services, parents in early care, coordination between schools, early care and family, and the training needs of stimulation specialists early.

• The second part is structured following the evolutionary scheme of abilities from zero to six years: cognitive development and disability, language development, social development, motor development, psychological development of high-risk children and development and play.

• The third focuses on assessment instruments and intervention programs: assessment instruments in pediatric neuropathy; screening tests, neurological examination, early diagnosis; psychopedagogical assessment instruments; physical therapy and early care; communication and language: speech therapy intervention; intervention programs with Down Syndrome and other children with n.e.e .; prospective control programs in the neonatal services, and intervention programs in premature infants.
